The exhibition will showcase Lily, NINA d and BAby Bunnys individual works. Postcards, art book and prints will be available for purchase.
Lily produces works in response to the fragmented pre verbal childhood memories of abuse, trauma, loss and abandonment.
Lily was diagnosed with DID in 2016
DID is a creative survival mechanism for coping with overwhelming and chronic childhood trama.
DID is the most extreme manifestation of. Dissociative disorder and ‘involves multiple parts of the personality existing within one person.
NINA d has struggled with her yearning to be reunited with her First Family. She sees herself as a lone Wolf desperate to find her Brothers Ricardo and Rodriguez
interestingly Lily is in the process of booking a wolf and fox experience to help NINA d to reconcile the conflicting feelings she has about the kinship, about what it means to be a wolf.
NINA d is the protective element within Lilys personality and defends Lily when she is perceived to be under Threat.
Baby Bunny is pre verbal and expresses herself through play.
she doesn’t appear that often at all but is the most vulnerable of Lilys alters as she is non verbal and is defenceless.
it took a lot of work for Lily to Stop feeling like prey and now she carries a baby wolf - new work to be found soon.
