The works are in response to the fragmented childhood memories of abuse, trauma, absence, and loss whilst Lily was with her first family, in 1970’s Colombia, South America
“Coming Home- Part One”
Coming Home to Herself, is Lily , honoring her Ancestral family heritage, and the Latina that she is.
It is a story of Hope, and reconciliation and reunification to enable Lily to
return home to Colombia and follow her beloved mamas footsteps.
In doing so it is hoped that for Lily her grief for her First Family can be resolved in time.
